Abstract RESUMO: Este relatório descreve as atividades realizadas na área da coordenação de Investigação Clínica pela empresa BlueClinical, no Hospital Garcia de Orta, no âmbito do Mestrado em Gestão da Investigação Clínica. O objetivo do estágio curricular foi a preparação do aluno para o ambiente de trabalho, e no fim o aluno ser autónomo nas funções a que se propôs. Neste caso, o aprofundamento dos conceitos aprendidos nas aulas teóricas e o conhecimento e execução de funções na área de coordenação num centro de estudo clínico. Neste relatório descreve-se o estado da arte de Investigação Clínica e o impacto da COVID-19 nos ensaios clínicos, seguido das atividades realizadas no estágio curricular, terminando com uma Análise de Risco das funções de Coordenação num centro de estudo clínico, discussão do trabalho e conclusão. O estágio curricular foi interrompido mais cedo do que o previsto, não tendo sido executado todos os objetivos específicos, no entanto, os executados foram completados com sucesso. No fim do estágio, a autonomia nas funções de Coordenação de investigação clínica foi alcançada.ABSTRACT: This report describes the activities carried out in Clinical Research coordination by the company BlueClinical, at Hospital Garcia de Orta, within the scope of the master’s in Management of Clinical Research. The objective of the curricular internship was to prepare the student for the work environment, and in the end the student would be autonomous in the functions he proposed. In this case, the deepening of the concepts learned in the theoretical classes and the knowledge and execution of functions in the area of coordination in a clinical study center. This report describes the state of the art of Clinical Investigation and the impact of COVID-19 on clinical trials, followed by activities carried out in the curricular internship, ending with a Risk Analysis of the Coordination functions in a clinical study center, discussion of the work and conclusion. The curricular internship was interrupted earlier than expected, with not all the specific objectives having been implemented, however, the completed ones were successfully completed. At the end of the internship, autonomy in the Clinical Research Coordination functions was achieved. Topical name COVID-19
